Problem Note 61400: SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Teradata fails when schema or database options begin with a number or special character
When you use the SCHEMA= or DATABASE= LIBNAME options with SAS/ACCESS Interface to Teradata, you might receive an error similar to one of the following:
ERROR: Cannot connect to the specified database. Try changing or removing your DATABASE= option.
ERROR: Error in the LIBNAME statement.
ERROR: Teradata prepare: Syntax error, expected something like a name or a Unicode delimited identifier or an 'UDFCALLNAME' keyword or '(' between the 'FROM' keyword and the integer '2'. SQL statement was: SELECT * FROM 2ABC."2ABC_ABTAB_ABC".
This issue occurs when your option begins with a number or special character. An error occurs only when you use Teradata Parallel Transporter (TPT) with the LIBNAME engine.
